you have GOT to be kidding.

For anyone slightly interested, I am compiling an image "log" with pix captured from my iPhone and instantly uploaded to my .mac gallery. They will be from any given time i feel the need to snap a shot... if it captures a certain mood or feeling i had, i will upload it, a visual reference of my days. Or if it's just plain funny.

I don't really know what that means other than you have to start writing an "08" instead of "07"... and I guess it is a good time to start fresh with new ideas- hopefully bettering your life a small bit.

I figured as a new years resolution for myself, I would try to be a bit more positive. Since that is going to be very difficult, I still need to vent some of these things that are floating around in my brain... and why not make it a little funny? I have so many of these random thoughts all the time. I spend at least 8 hours a day at my job, so I tend to sometimes go off on a rant about them. Lately I have been depending on my co-worker and friend Kathy to jot them down before they surface and eject themselves from my mouth.

These thoughts, collectively jotted down into 5 pages of Steno notebook (so far) have become :

Yes. It is a BLOG. Which is short for WEB... LOG. So I give you, my thoughts in a LOG format... on the WEB. It helps me stay sane, and you may actually laugh. Even though to me, this shit really isn't that funny.

About the Red Sox game tonight... I normally don't watch baseball, but tonight i decided to give it a shot to be a good sport. Just because its the "world series" -and i even had to ask... to make sure that's what it was. so you get my point. I don't know shit about sports, and there isn't much to make me have ANY desire to watch a game, except when it is supposed to be an "important" game, or whatever...so i watched.....

I am totally grossed out. I couldn't believe the lack of manners on these people. These so-called "sports figures" get paid good money to be professional, they need to wear clean uniforms, stand for the national anthem, look professional and act the part.

Why do you think it's ok to go spitting everywhere every two seconds? I mean it's not just a few times. It is happening every two seconds. Like they zoom in on that shit on purpose so you don't miss it... Really, WHAT is that about? Imagine if you went to an event of ANY kind... and people were just spitting all over the place..could you see how weird and unprofessional it would look? What if it were acceptable for people to spit whenever they feel like it? Hey, we're walking around the mall... LET'S SPIT EVERYWHERE>>>> or hey... look at me in the movie theater... i need to just spit right here... cause' i'm a big asshole.... or maybe your car dealer... hey, let me sell you this sweet "SPIT"..... car, it's really nice... "SPIT" and clean.... OH YEAH... REAL PROFESSIONAL. MORON!

We have been evolving for a long time, I think we could get away with not spitting on everything every two seconds! We are way smarter than that now... remember?

What's next? Are they gonna start pissing on the grass? Pooping in the dugout? Maybe blow their nose on the uniform? Neanderthals. Seriously... what kind of person needs to spit that much? You need some f**king water buddy? Cause we got some water right here..., take a sip of water. If you can't play a game of baseball without putting tobacco in your mouth, then you have SERIOUS problems. It not only makes you look disgusting, but it makes little kids see you with it in your mouth and since they respect you, they would think it's ok to have this nasty habit. we don't want to see you spitting like a disrespectful selfish ass bag.

Hit some f**king balls with the wooden stick monkey boy...it's all you'll ever be good at...drive your big gas guzzling vehicle home,x...don't recycle, think only about you and your posessions... and all the money you are handed every time you just whack balls and spit, while people are out there doing things that make a difference. you are merely an entertainer. and one without any manners. You are impressing us all with the spitting, you are so cool...

DO YOU REALIZE THAT you get more money for one ticket to the friggin' baseball game than the United States pays for one minute of our moron presidets nightmare in Iraq?. What is this all about? Why the disrespect for the people watching you, and paying good money to do so?

You ungrateful spitting bastards. where are your manners? You have big stupid bad habits for a poor excuse of a human, who obviously wasn't brought up right. Someone should slap you in the mouth every time you spit. Get over the spitting. It's a game. You are not impressing anyone.

Yesterday afternoon, after finishing all the splitting of my entire winter's worth of wood, in attemts to further secure the freshly stacked piles, I decided to pound in some stakes at the edges of the piles. Great idea, right? So while pounding in the last stake, while using the reverse side of an axe , I struck it one last time for good measure when the axe hit slightly off center on the stake, flipped around and went directly into my foot. Sharp side forward.

Surgery Monday October 1st. Fixing the severed tendon. Right now, the big toe wants to pull downward, due to the sliced tendon on the top side of the foot. Because it was cut 1/2 way through, it is stretched out so far that I cannot "pull" my toe up toward me, i feel as if i could move it, but when i look down, there is no movement. It is quite unnerving. So, the doc needs to go in and tighten that bastard up so I can perhaps have a normal foot again. -note... you can see (on the axe photo) where the dirt is stuck in the blood to give you an idea of what area hit the foot. That son of a bitch is SHARP!

UPDATE: I called Apple back, go through six (6) different people in the chain, and once I spoke with "Public Relations" Anne, she did work me out a deal to repair the LCD in the laptop.

Normally the job would cost anywhere from 500 to 1000 dollars to fix ( I don't understand why there is not just a set price for such a replacement, but whatever...) Long story short, I wore them down enough (Oh, and I did NOT buy the extended warranty in the beginning) so they worked me a half-way decent deal to replace the screen for the "flat repair cost fee" of $329.00. Not too bad, seeing as I looked around online for a 3rd party replacement and those were all upwards of 450 to 700 dollars.

I guess it is not quite the outcome I was hoping for, but they heard me out, and are willing to offer me this. I did ask, however, that if they issue a recall for these numerous machines that have this SAME problem- if I will receive a refund for the cost of THIS repair, and they did tell me that they have done that in the past and would probably do the same if for some reason there were a recall. So that's that.

I seriously reccomend to anyone who has this issue to call and AT LEAST get a case number to help them LOG the systems that have this issue. Check the Youtube video to watch my second line forming....

I called Apple yesterday about this line that just showed up on my G4 Powerbook's LCD screen. Apparently I can expect to see more of them popping up soon. Production date is March 05. There have been alot of reports saying that the machines manufactured in Shanghai China have this flaw.. and guess what! I got it, and my machine WAS ALSO manufactured there... coincidence?

They tell me that because it is out of warranty they will not cover it, but i have been doing some research and i believe that with a collection of stories like this you would think Apple might make good. The two pictures below show what difference occurs in 4 months. Many different colors and clusters.

Check out the News 40 broadcast of the city water problem. I may add that the mayor did come by to look at the problem, but we have yet to hear of any solution. And with all the other things the city of Westfield has going on that have also no funding, it seems as though we may be at this for a bit longer.

BUT.... It says nothing about its ability to be run over by a jeep (probably multiple times), left in a driveway for two days in sub zero temperatures, and still function like it came out of the box. As you can see by the scan, there are slight scratches on the surface of the pen, but after opening and closing it a few times, it functions just like the day i got it. Now I can live in confidence that every time I need to write something down, Fischer's got my back. nice.

I'M STILL THINKING ABOUT HAVING THE ALIEN IMPLANTS IN MY HEAD REMOVED. I CAN COUNT THREE SO FAR. MY ONLY QUESTION IS- HOW DID THEY GET IN THERE WITHOUT ANY SCARRING?

OK, SO I am begining my quest to have a water problem fixed in my neighborhood. There is a drain located about 50 feet up the road from our house, and if it rains for a small period of time it starts to overflow and water actually COMES UP OUT of the drain... begins flowing downstream and after pooiing up in the driveway entrance, it flows directly down and across my driveway to puddle up in the back yard. I DO NOT BELIEVE my back yard should be the final destination for this entire flow of water. I believe the city needs to install some sort of drainage system to divert the water to the runoff stream located behind my property. Here are the pictures. I have put a call in to the city DPW and they half-assed told me they would come and check it out. This was about 2 weeks ago. Nothing has been done. What would YOU DO???
